Fountain University is a private University established by the Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society of Nigeria on May 2007 and started operating January 2008. The vision of the University is to be a pace-setting institution in terms of learning, character building and service to humanity. Its mission is to produce competent and resourceful graduates with high moral standards.
Its philosophy is the total development of men and women in an enabling environment through appropriate teaching, research and service to humanity, influenced by Islamic Ethics and Culture.

Fountain University was formally approved to commence operation by the Federal Executive Council of Nigeria on Wednesday, 2nd May, 2007. To God be all the glory.
The name FOUNTAIN UNIVERSITY , is derived from the Holy Qur'an Chapter 55 verses 66 to 67 which reads:
“Therein, also will be two springs gushing forth with water
Which, then, of the favours of your Lord will you deny”

Our logo, features a fountain and a book, with design appurtenances.

OUR OBJECTIVES

To provide opportunity of acquiring University education to all people without discrimination as to credd, colour, nationality, race, gender or political persuasion.
To promote through research, seminars, conferences, workshops, and the like, the advancement of knowledge and practical application to human problems in all its facets.
To stimulate interest in the acquisition and cultivation of Islamic ethics and culture.
To provide innovative educational proghrammes of high standard and relevance to the needs of the society.
To promote the acquisition of knowledge through international collaboration.
To undertake other activities appropriate for a university of high repute.
