Islam Does Not Recognise Same Sex Marriage, Says NASFAT Chief Missioner

Written by  Tuesday, 20 December 2011 23:22

Alhaji Abdullahi Akinbode, Chief Missioner of Nasri-lahi Fathi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT), says Islam does not recognise same six marriage.

Akinbode said in Abuja at a fund raiser prayer for the completion of NASFAT National Mosque at Jabi prayer ground in Abuja.

He said that Islam does not have a place for same sex marriage, as it has been mentioned in the Quran that every body should marry his own type of person.

Quoting from the Holy Quoran, the chief missioner affirmed that “A prostitute man must marry a prostitute woman and a chaste man must marry a chaste woman’’.

“Meaning that equal sex, coordination, companion, is unlawful, it is a crime against God and humanity himself.

“It is a crime against the rule of God and the existence of humanity, and even the sensibility of humanity.

“Islam does not recognise marriage of same sex, it is a universal fallacy,’’ he maintained

Chief Missioner also called on his members to rise and make sure that the society’s Mosque was completed soon.

He said, if every member could make it as a duty to contribute N2,000 weekly, the Mosque would be completed in no time.

He, however, advised all Muslims not to forget their service to humanity.

‘We still need to continue service to humanity because as we continue to live in this world, we need to obey Allah, the Prophet and the government of the nation.

“As we must fulfil our responsibilities, while they too must fulfill their responsibilities to us,’’ he said.

Speaking earlier, the Zonal Missoner, Alhaji Abubakar Al Agan said the delay in completing the mosque was due to lack of funds.
