NASFAT Health & HIV/AIDS Initiative (NASHHIN) is a nationally functional health focused NGO that emerged from Nasrul-L-Fathi Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) on May 26, 2007.

OUR VISION

• To be the leading and globally functioning faith based health NGO to all races and ethnic group in all part of the globe.

• To support direct health services to humanity in few years to come.

OUR GOALS

Consistent education and motivation of all Muslims and non-Muslim brothers and sisters on health matters and regular medical check up.

To generate and review desirable policy on health & HIV/AIDS towards impacting on the Nigerian Muslim community.

OBJECTIVES

Articulate HIV/AIDS and other key thematic areas of health for the intervention of NASFAT in relation to gender issues and human productivity and vulnerability.

Appraised attitude towards family planning, breast feeding & testicular cancer and behaviour affecting for HIV/AIDS prevalence, prevention and management.

Immediate constitution of resource mechanism to fashion out effective models/modules, strategies, guidelines and work plan for NASFAT on other health & HIV/AIDS programming within a given time frame.

To identify and work with other development partner(s) on health & HIV/AIDS programmes.

COVERAGE OF OUR OPERATIONS

• HIV/AIDS counseling and testing
• Counseling and lectures on reproductive health
• Capacity building
• Provision of prophylactic materials against opportunistic infections
• Regular advice on health and medical check ups.
